The title says it all really – 2013 has been a brilliant year for Simon Brettell Photography. I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful couples and been able to photograph in some truly stunning locations; from a giant teepee on Cannock Chase all the way to Sarigerme in Turkey.
2014 looks like it’s going to be even busier as the calendar is almost full already. I’ll be starting the year back at Dodford Manor, where I started 2013, to photograph Jen and Andy’s wedding. From there I’ll be covering a range of venues throughout the country – from Birmingham Botanical Gardens, barely a mile from my house, all the way to the beautiful Carbis Bay Hotel in St Ives, Cornwall. If you are thinking of making a booking please feel free to get in touch via any of the methods detailed on the contacts page.
I’ve had a bit of a dig into some of the internet traffic visitor numbers to the website and was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. Over the course of 2013 I’ve had 18,061 unique visitors to my little website, that’s an average of almost 50 different people per day, which has generated nearly half a million hits! That’s not bad considering that I’ve never advertised and operate purely on word of mouth recommendation or from people that randomly stumble across the website through the power of Google.
So to those 18,061 people I would like to say a huge thank you and wish you all the best for 2014. There is also someone else that I need to say a massive thank you to and that’s my wonderful wife Liz. I would not have been able set up and run this little business without her continued love and support.
