The following is a list of wedding suppliers that I’ve used or seen in action and would be happy to recommend as I know that they do a great job. Please do mention me if you happen to use any of them.
Amington Band – If you’re after something a bit different for your wedding then these guys can certainly provide it. A brass band that play everything from classic brass right up to modern contemporary songs. They also work with operatic tenor Richard Lloyd Owen.
Calumet Photographic – I’ve used Calumet on the Hagley Road in Birmingham for years to hire and buy photographic and lighting equipment. They stock a huge range of gear and their staff are incredibly knowledgeable.
Canon – Every camera I’ve bought since 1989 has been made by Canon and today I exclusively use their cameras, lenses and flashes.
Duncan James Menswear – Formal suit hire, made to measure and highland wear.
Elite Tents – If you’re looking for something more unusual for your wedding venue, how about a giant tipi?
Jessica Sutton Harpist – Brilliant Midlands based harpist.
PikPerfect – Photobook and wedding album design service
Richard Lloyd Owen – Stunning operatic tenor, can perform classic opera, hymns, sacred songs and contemporary tunes at your wedding service and reception with a recorded or live backing. I’ve seen his version of Nessun Dorma reduce people to tears.
Rocky Road Band – Easily the best covers band I’ve seen at a wedding. Contemporary 5 piece band playing music from the 50’s to the present day . . . plus they do an absolutely storming version of The Killers Mr Brightside!
The Shakespeare Spit Roast Company – Offer a variety of spit roasts and outdoor catering.
