For my first wedding of 2023 I made my way down to Long Marston, near Stratford-on-Avon, for Maisie and Tom’s wonderful wedding day at the stunning Cider Mill Barns. It was my first visit to Cider Mill Barns as it’s a fairly new wedding venue which only opened in 2019, just prior to the COVID19 global pandemic. The family run, exclusive use venue is set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside and offers views of the surrounding fields and farmland. Inside, Cider Mill Barns features a stunning light and airy ceremony room, with exposed brick and oak beams, plus a separate bar and wedding breakfast room. There’s also luxury on site accommodation so that bridal party and their guests can stay at the venue.

On the morning of the wedding I met with Maisie and her bridesmaids in the Bramley Barn, Cider Mill Barns’ very own private bridal preparation room. Chloe Parasmo was busy on hair and make-up duties whilst the girls made the most of drinking in the pre-wedding excitement, whilst also drinking in the odd glass of fizz along the way! Meanwhile, over in the Orchard Barn, Tom and his groomsmen were readying themselves for the ceremony by donning their super sharp blue three piece suits which were from Peter Posh.

The ceremony was a wonderful affair which took place in the ceremony barn in front of Maisie and Tom’s closest friends and family. The room (in fact the whole venue) had been beautifully decorated and styled by Lois Golding of Little Garden Flowers whose vibrant winter flowers really brought a splash of colour to the occasion. The entrance of the bridal party was proceeded by Maisie’s brothers who took on the roles of “flower boys” and sprinkled the aisle with petals before Maisie arrived in her vintage wedding dress. With the vows completed (including some name confusion!!!) and rings exchanged everyone then headed outside to shower the newlyweds with confetti before starting the drinks reception.

Once the group shots were completed and the drinks quaffed everyone then made their way back inside for the sumptuous three course wedding breakfast which was curtesy of the kitchen wizards at Four Leaf Clover Foods. This was followed by the speeches before everyone made their way back into the ceremony barn for the evening reception. Entertainment was provided by DJ Mac Music who kept the dancefloor rocking all night with a selection of floor fillers from the fifties to the current day.

Before I sign off I must say a huge thank you to Maisie and Tom for having me along as their Cider Mill Barns wedding photographer. It was a huge pleasure to have spend such a wonderful day with you both and your friends and families. It really was a fantastic day at a brilliant wedding venue. Before I go here’s 50 images to give you a sneak peek inside their stunning Cider Mill Barns wedding . . .
