Easter 2020 is somewhat a little different with the impact of coronavirus / COVID-19 on everyone’s lives. However; everyone realises how important it is to look at the bigger picture. The amazing work being done by the various key workers, many putting their lives on the line, gives real perspective to what is really important.

As tough as things are at the moment life really does have to try and carry on . . . whilst sticking to the government guidelines! Since the schools closed three weeks ago it’s been fairly hectic trying to balance the various demands of work, home schooling, keeping the house from descending into chaos and trying to keep Isabella entertained. We’ve been doing everything from painting rainbows for the windows, baking and plenty of online lessons – including our daily P.E. with Joe session. The fact the the weather has been so glorious over the last few weeks really has been a massive help, allowing us to make the most out of the smallest garden in Birmingham and our permitted daily outside exercise time.

So here’s a few pictures of what our Easter in coronavirus lockdown has looked like. Good Friday to Easter Sunday has mainly involved flying saucer guns, bunny ears, paddling pools, chocolate, slime manufacturing, scootering, Easter egg hunting, biscuit decorating . . . oh and some rocket launching . . .
