Back in the middle of August I made the short hop from Birmingham into the Warwickshire countryside for Paige and Jon’s fantastic farm marquee wedding. I met with Paige early on the morning of the wedding at Ansty Hall in Coventry for the bridal preparations. It was a hive of activity with bridesmaids and flower girls dashing to and fro as the lovely Helen Brady did makeup and Marie from All About You was busy with hair. As the ceremony time drew closer Paige eased into her stunning white lace detailed wedding dress, which was from Vogue Bridal of Exhall, whilst her bridesmaids donned their pink dresses which were from SistaGlam.

The ceremony took place at the Grade II listed St James’ Church in Bulkington. The church has a long history which dates back to at least the early 13th century. The ceremony, conducted by the Reverend Higgins, was a lovely affair with hymns and readings before the exchanging of rings. With the legal formalities completed everyone then headed out into the summer sunshine before making their way to Brook House Farm in Ansley for the wedding reception which was held in a stunning marquee from Century Marquees.

There was a large DIY element to the day with friends and family helping out with the wedding cake, flowers and decorating the marquee. Plus Jon was also heavily involved in the catering via his restaurant, Anthony’s Cafe Bistro / Odd Fellows Catering, who provided hampers for the summer themed picnic wedding breakfast. With the picnic hampers emptied and scotch eggs scoffed we then hit the (slightly boggy!) fields around Brook House Farm for a few portraits. Then it was back to the marquee to cut the wedding cake before Alan from Sounds Alive Disco got the dancefloor moving until the early hours. Here’s a few pictures from Paige and Jon’s fun filled fantastic farm marquee wedding . . .
