Hundred House Hotel Wedding – Katie and Morgan

Back at the end of March I made my way to the village Norton which is on the A442 halfway between Bridgnorth and Telford. I was there for Kate and Morgan’s Hundred House Hotel wedding which was held on a wonderfully sunny Shropshire spring day.

I met with Katie and her two bridesmaids in the Angelica room at the Hundred House Hotel early on the morning of the wedding. It was a flurry of activity with some Asti being quaffed as Sarah Jayne was busy with hair and makeup. Meanwhile over on the opposite side of the hotel Morgan and his groomsmen were readying themselves for the day ahead by donning their smart blue three piece suits, which were from Kevin Paul Suit Hire, before heading to the hotel bar for one final last sneaky pint (or two!).

As the ceremony time approached Katie eased into her stunning white wedding dress which was from WED2B whilst her bridesmaids wore matching dresses from Victoria Lou Bridal. The ceremony took place in the Tythe Barn in front of the bride and groom’s family, friends and also Frank and Teddy, their two incredibly cute boys. Once the vows were completed, rings exchanged and the first kiss completed, the newly married couple headed out into the blazing Shropshire spring sunshine to be showered with confetti.

With the drinks reception in full swing and the children running amok in the garden we took a little time to grab some formal group photos before everyone headed back into the Tythe Barn for a stunning three course wedding breakfast. This was followed by the speeches before the barn was reddied for the evening reception.

For their evening party Katie and Morgan got the proceedings underway by cutting their wedding cake, curtesy of Bake it Special, before moving onto their first dance. The dancefloor then opened up for their guests, who threw shapes until the small hours.

Before I finish this blog post I must say a huge thank you to Katie and Morgan for having me along to photograph their Hundred House Hotel wedding.
