Back in October last year I made my first visit to the amazing Pendrell Hall for Miriam and Rory’s wonderful wedding. Pendrell Hall is a beautifully restored, arts and crafts style, Victorian mansion which dates from 1870. The venue is set in six acres of stunning landscaped grounds in Codsall Wood on the outskirts of Wolverhampton.

I met with Miriam and the rest of the bridal party at her parents house on the morning of the wedding. Miriam’s sister, Lydia, was doing a sterling job on hair and makeup whilst the flower girls and pageboys did their best to cause just a tiny bit of chaos! As the ceremony approached the bridesmaids eased into their stunning matching burgundy dresses, which were from David’s Bridal, before helping Miriam into her beautiful lace sleeved wedding dress, which was from Brides of Bond Street. The bridal party then made their way to the ceremony in a pair of stunning vintage 1937 Daimler limousines which were from Penkridge Classic Wedding Cars.

Waiting patiently at Saint Michael’s and All Angels church in Himley was Rory, looking very dapper in his three piece suit from Moss Bros. The ceremony was a lovely affair held in front of Miriam and Rory’s nearest and dearest. With the hymns sung, vows completed, rings exchanged and the wedding certificate signed, everyone made their way outside to shower the happy couple with confetti before heading off to the reception at Pendrell Hall.

Once back at Pendrell Hall the guests were treated to a drinks reception before heading into the dining room for a spectacular three course wedding breakfast prepared by the kitchen wizards from Jenkinson’s Caterers. For the evening reception i-Party, the premium party band, banged out two sets of dancefloor classics to keep the guests entertained into the early hours.

Before I sign off I’d like to say a massive thankyou to Miriam and Rory for having me along to be their Pendrell Hall wedding photographer. It was a real pleasure to have been part of such a wonderful wedding day filled with lots of love and laughter. It was also lovely to be able to catch up with Miriam’s brother and sister-in-law, Richie and Angela, whose wedding I photographed back in 2018 at Highbury Hall. Here’s 50 photogrpahs to give you a feel for Miriam and Rory’s wedding . . .
