Back at the start of June I made the short hop from Birmingham to The Mytton and Mermaid Hotel at Atcham in Shrewsbury for Frances and Neal’s wonderful wedding.

The girls started the morning in The Mytton Suite of the hotel where Maria from Face & Figure was busy with makeup and hair was teased and tousled by Beautiful Brides by Kim. Outside, making the most of the superb summer weather, Neal and his groomsmen were making the final tweaks and touches to their speeches.

With the final re-writes completed the boys then headed back inside to don their deep blue suits, which were from Slater’s Menswear. Meanwhile Frances prepared for the ceremony by easing into her stunning Ronald Joyce wedding dress, from Cherish Bridal in Northwich, whilst her bridesmaids wore pale blue dresses which were from Dorothy Perkins.

The ceremony took place in the sunshine under the glass canopied courtyard at The Mytton and Mermaid. It was a blazing hot day but Frances and Neal managed to keep their cool to become husband and wife in a lovely ceremony in front of their friends and family. With the ceremony completed everyone headed out onto the hotel lawn for the drinks reception to cool down and re-hydrate. After demolishing the canapes (the deep-fried halloumi proved very popular!) the guests then headed inside for a stunning three course wedding breakfast.

As the evening drew in I escaped with Frances and Neal into the adjoining Attingham Park to sneak a few portraits before we headed back to The Mytton and Mermaid for the first dance. Then DJ John Reynolds from Surround Sounds Disco took over for the evening and got the dancefloor moving. Here’s fifty photos from Frances and Neal’s marvellous Mytton and Mermaid wedding. . .
