Back at the start of September I was at Wootton Park in Warwickshire to photograph Kat and David’s wonderful wedding. Wootton Park is a family owned wedding and conference venue located in its own 360 acre valley of rolling Warwickshire countryside close to Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and only a short hop from Birmingham. It consists of a 16th Century farmhouse and a series of Victorian era farm buildings which have been sympathetically restored and renovated.
I met with Kat and her bridesmaids at the venue on the morning of the wedding. Bridal hair was by Trust Salons, who are actually based at Wootton Park, whilst makeup was by Allison Tye. It was a flurry of activity with Kat and David’s incredibly cute daughter getting involved in the action too.
Whilst the girls were readying themselves in the bridal prep room, David was finishing his preparations in the adjacent farmhouse. For the ceremony he wore three piece suit which was from Moss Bros whilst Kat looked stunning in her beautiful lace detailed San Patrick wedding dress which was from Lisa Rose Bridal, Solihull.
The ceremony took place outside by the lake, making the most of the brilliant weather that we’ve been fortunate to have this summer. It was a wonderful affair conducted in front of the bride and groom’s closest friends and family. With the rings exchanged and the confetti thrown everyone made their way back to the barns for the drinks reception which was followed by a stunning high tea wedding breakfast.
Once the speeches were completed the guests made their way back outside to enjoy the last of the late afternoon sun whilst I took Kat and David off for a few portraits. As the evening drew in the DJ’s from Chamberlain Events got the party started in the main barn kept the dancefloor moving to the early hours.
