It’s my birthday today so it means that it’s the one day of the year where I get to take over of Daddy’s website to tell you about my adventures over the last 12 months. I’ve had an exciting time since my first birthday, we’ve done lots of fun things and I’ve also changed quite a lot too. Here’s me with my big brown teddy bear at 0, 1 and today now I’m 2.
I’ve now got lots of teeth and hair, two things that were missing on my first birthday. I can now walk too, although I generally prefer tearing about at high speed as it’s much more fun. Here’s me taking my very first pair out shoes out for their first run back in January. . .
I’m still a little bear of very few words though. I do a bit of sign language; mummy has taught me the most important words like biscuit and cake. I also saw daddy doing some sign language when he was driving in the car last week but they haven’t taught me that sign yet at Tiny Talk. This year I’ve also got my first set of wheels too so I don’t need mummy and daddy to take me everywhere.
So, what are my favourite things? Well, my number one favouritest thing in the whole world is Grandad . . .
I also love Nanny and Grandma too . . .
My other favourite things are dinosaurs, Mr Tumble, Hey Duggee and swings. Just don’t try to take me off the swing before I’m ready!
This Christmas I’ve also discovered that I like sprouts! I don’t really have any favourite toys and much prefer to spend my time turning all the plug sockets, light switches and other electrical appliances on and off! My other favourite activity is stealing other people’s food.
We’ve still had lots of lovely trips to Torquay to see Grandma and also to play with Masie and Rory; plus Elsie, the newest arrival to the family.
I’ve also had the chance to get my passport out too. Back in April we had an amazing five days in “wonderful” Copenhagen. My favourite bit was running up and down the Rundetaarn, a massive tower without any steps
At the end of May we went to Tuscany with Nanny and Grandad. There I got to tear around the streets of San Gimignano, do lots of swimming and had time to visit the vineyards of Chianti. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about, grapes are yucky.
Then in the summer we went to the Greek island of Mykonos where I had great fun on the beach (I took nearly as many selfies as Mummy), chatted to the local ladies and fought off the attention of the local hotties.
Here’s a few more photos from my adventures this year . . .
Before I give daddy his website back I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has wished me a happy second birthday or been kind enough to send me a card or present. I also want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and hope that you all have a wonderful new year. Lots of love, hugs and kisses from Isabella xxx
